WHO ARE WE?

Active for over sixty years, the League of Women Voters of Baltimore County is a non-partisan organization that encourages informed and active participation in government and works to increase understanding of national, state, and local public policy through education and advocacy.

 

The LWVBC assists citizens to become more informed participants in their community and their government by

· Studying issues for non-partisan solutions

· Transportation

· Housing

· Environmental concerns, land use, zoning

· Campaign reform

· Assisting at voter registration drives and providing information about voting

· Conducting community forums on local, state, and national issues

· Distributing informational brochures and other publications,

· Providing information about government on the national, state, and local levels

· Producing Voters' Guides
